Testimonials

For the past five years I have had the pleasure of working with Christina Crea as the Communicator for the Washington State Department of Transportation’s Aviation Division.

During that time, Christina has become one of the most valued employees within the Division. As the Division’s responsibilities for Washington’s aviation system grew, so did the commensurate responsibilities of the Communicator position.

Whether it was managing the Division’s internet site, communicating with members of the public or monitoring the physical and mental wellbeing of our team members, Christina always performed with the right mix of dedication, humility and positivity. Her approach to daily tasks with a smile made her an excellent team member to tackle the myriad of challenges that came our way.

As a highlight to her accomplishments, Christina acted as the primary point of contact for a multiyear planning effort to address the capacity needs for air passenger service, air cargo operations and general aviation within Washington State. Her efforts with community engagement and addressing public input made her a key contributor to this challenging work.

Those experiences alone have made her a truly valuable member of the WSDOT team. Christina is a skilled communicator worthy of consideration for her abilities.

I hired Christina as the Marketing and Communications Specialist for the YMCA. Her position was relatively new for the Association so we were learning together as we grew the department. I was impressed by Christina’s all-in attitude from day one. She approached every assignment with enthusiasm, creativity, and humility. She is passionate about media marketing and content creation— Christina is a strong writer and excellent at social media strategy—her strong storytelling skills and ability to connect with her audience helped the YMCA build its brand awareness in the community—she successfully wrote compelling newsletter content that resulted in increased donor and volunteer engagement and she was directly responsible for rapidly growing the association’s social media presence across all channels through deploying best practice strategies.

Additionally, Christina was my trusted co-pilot with fundraising and marketing activities. She was willing to help me anywhere she could even if it wasn’t in her day-to-day job description. She created video content for donor appeals, developed logos, brainstormed event themes, and created web content.

Christina is fun, agile, humble, extremely creative and collaborative.
